A wonderful long-legged bird
The White-browed Warbler is one that immediately springs to mind.
Despite the fact that it was not named after a particular bodily part, the name sounds reasonable to us today.
So what comes to mind when I suggest a long-legged bird with eyelashes that would make many models envious and a name that sounds like it was named for office workers?
To say the least, the Secretary bird is a rare species with eagle-like features and long, beautiful legs.
It has red face skin, quill-like plumes on its head that mimic an Indian headdress.
