A mother black and her three cubs
One lake, Lake Tahoe, was overrun on Saturday by countless people seeking relief from the high temperatures.
However, several of them received a surprise visitor on Saturday: a mother black bear and her three cubs decided to join them. I’m aware that seems absurd, and many swimmers found it hard to accept what they were seeing.
However, it is clear why they made this decision given their thick coat of fur.
As seen by their several dips throughout the day, the bears’ family decided to take the week off like everyone else and enjoy themselves at the beach.
The first person to spot the bears at Pope Beach was a beachgoer named Jen Watkins. She did, in fact, film the incident.
The four-legged visitor has been seen ambling around the beach in peace, unperturbed by the large crowds.
They did, however, run into a small dog-related issue. Even in the summer, when Lake Tahoe is more crowded, black bear sightings are common on its shores.
However, a vast bear population of between 25,000 and 35,000 bears is present in the state of California.
Despite the fact that no one was wounded this time and the bears walked away after they got tired of bathing, nature authorities nonetheless advise people to exercise caution around wild animals because they may be quite dangerous.
