The mom bear stretching and feeding her cubs as if she were doing yoga
René Doyle, an Australian wildlife photographer, travelled to Alaska to photograph bears in Lake Clarke National Park.
He came across a big bear with two baby cubs born this year while looking for subjects for photographs. The bear and her cubs were playing in the water on the lake’s shore when the mom lay on her back and the cubs climbed onto her stomach to drink milk.
It was a unique opportunity for the mom bear to unwind; the rest of the time she was watching her children, playing with them, teaching them, and making sure they were safe.
Taking advantage of this moment of resting, the bear decided to stretch her paws a little, providing the photographer with rare, marvellous, and very successful shots of her appearing to do yoga.
The man was so close to them that it was hazardous and difficult for him to take photos of the wild creatures being so cute and likeable when they were together. Every time he wondered; it was an amazing time for him.
