A touching scene: this woman sees her horse and her dogs and says goodbye to them for the last time

She got all the attention she needed but she missed her creatures.

This story demonstrates how important animals are to us and how they can form a special bond with animals of different species. Jen Holman, 68, used to live in a hospital but now lives at the Good Shepherd’s Home in Chester, England. seriously ill, and her life will soon end. She got all the attention she needed, but she missed her horses Bob, Monty and Rowley, and her dogs Monty and Rowley.

The woman stated that Bob was a big part of her life and that she rode him until the day she was admitted to the hospital. The hospice staff finished packing before taking Jan to the front yard for a sweet surprise.

Jen was sure her horse was hers. When he arrived, the stable workers at Thornley Park Farm, where Bob lives freely, were there to greet him. She was pleased, especially when she thought about the possibility of seeing Bob again. Bob sat on Jan’s lap and immediately stroked her neck, sticking his head in the door so Jan could touch him.

He also enjoyed the sweet apples, bananas and carrots she gave him. Her face beamed with joy. “I was still riding Bob every day until a few weeks ago,” Jan says.

Yang missed saying goodbye to her dogs before heading to the hospital, so she was relieved to see them again. Yang was able to enjoy a touching reunion and find the strength to fight back thanks to the wonderful staff at the hospice.

Jan’s happy reunion with her animals, as well as the exact time she spent with them, is captured in several photos taken by the staff. She and her husband are grateful, especially since she has received more visitors since she moved into the hospice.
