A man reunited a dog with its dying owner
A kind act by a man brings a dying woman and his cherished dog together.
To make it happen, the kind person traveled more than a thousand kilometers. If we had more people like him, what a wonderful place the world would have been!
The only thing this Burnsville, Wisconsin, woman wanted was to spend her remaining time happily with her best friend and beloved dog.
She made the decision to move herself and her dog to a friend’s house in Washington as a result.
When she learned that the airlines had declined to carry the dog because of his respiratory problems, the situation, however, transformed into an even worse nightmare.
Due to the situation, the unfortunate woman had no choice but to leave her dog at the veterinarian’s office.
She has been assured that they will take any necessary measures to reunite her with Bailey, her pug-mix.
The veterinary clinic immediately informed Spot’s Last Stop, a nearby animal rescue group, about the circumstance.
Before the rescue organization could arrange for Bailey to be returned to his mother, he had to spend a few days in a foster home.
This is how Ryan Chukuske and his wife from Shakopee, two incredibly kind people who had fostered animals, especially dogs, for many years, first encountered the pug.
And with their generosity, this compassionate couple has changed the story’s direction.
He would never have been more moved had Ryan’s wife not told him about Bailey’s mother’s awful accident.
So he made the decision to go there right away and try to make things right with the dog and his grieving owner.
Despite the lengthy journey of almost 27 hours and more than 1,609 kilometers (about 1,000 miles), Ryan was overjoyed to see the two of them together.
