An elephant collapses in happiness
Two elephants who have been forced to live their entire lives in the circus are undoubtedly given the setting.
Which is heartbreaking, as well as their reactions, are free.
These lovely creatures were saved and sent to a nature reserve where they can now live a healthy and happy life after spending more than 50 years in cages.
Mia and Sita had a very difficult time surviving.
The sisters have already lived practically chained, forced to engage in amusing acts for the carnival’s patrons.
But thanks to Animal SOS, an Indian group that not only rescues people but also protects wildlife, all of that suffering was put an end.
These hardworking people were partially responsible for the two elephants’ transfer to the Elephant Preservation Foundation, a sanctuary where they can live out the remainder of their lives in peace.
Mia and Sita arrived at the facility after traveling 1,200 miles. Both appeared sick and worn out.
Despite the severe scars that countless years of misery had left on their legs and spirits, they were nonetheless able to cherish their first moments of freedom.
Sita took her first breath in a pool, but Mia looked for an other way to demonstrate her happiness.
She simply relaxed by lying flat on the street! The intensity and passion of the scenario left the workers who helped these two magnificent animals overtaken with emotion.
Sita and Mia both seem happier than previously, which suggests that they are both embracing their new lifestyles.
And their rehabilitation will take a very long time!
