He still did not know that in a day the whole city would come to his aid.
For 30 years, Robert Peters calmly delivered pizza and believed that he was appreciated at work. But the man’s car broke, and the boss immediately fired Robert. It was a serious blow to the courier.
At that time, the man did not yet know that in a day the whole city would come to his aid.
Robert Peters got a job as a courier in Pizza Hut in his school years. All other colleagues perceived delivery as a part -time job, but Robert really liked his duties.
“Relatives often told me to find something profitable, stop being a deliveryer. But I am sincerely pleased to bring pizza to people, to see the joyful smiles of the neighbors. I am friends with many”. This was reported to reporters by Peters.
In a small town, many really knew the usual courier well. Residents wave to Robert when he had just passed by, a man was even called “Mr.” Everything is in order ” for his friendly attitude.
However, the owner of the pizzeria, as it turned out, did not appreciate the work of Peters.
When the old courier car broke, the director immediately fired this man and hired another in his place. Robert’s pride did not allow him to ask for help. And he just went home.
The news of Robert’s problem quickly spread around the city. Residents gathered at the city hall and in an hour came up with a decision: the next day the courier left the house and saw dozens of people in front of him.
They joyfully greeted the man, and then stepped aside. The brand new Chevrolet Malibu rode behind them – the whole city was thrown on a new car for a man.
Peters was able to return to the delivery again. Although now he works for himself: the help of the city helped him open his own cafe.
We can do everything well if we are a little kinder to each other. Perhaps this will help the whole world become better.
