A person and a polar bear become best friends
The polar bear is one of the most dangerous natural animals to be around and the largest land predator in the planet.
Despite this, a couple in Canada has decided to raise a polar bear as a pet.
Meet Agee, the family’s polar bear, and Mark and Dawn Dumas.
Mark claims that they have been raising Agee since she was a cub.
She has lived with them since since they adopted her in 1995.
She is currently a well-known 800-pound polar bear that has been in movies and television commercials.
Even now, years after they’ve developed an extraordinary friendship, Mark admits that he always treats Agee with the utmost respect.
The two, on the other hand, enjoy their time together and characterize Agee as “just like any other spoilt pet.”
Agee’s needs are all readily met by the Dumas family, but her preferred activity is swimming with Mark in the pool.
Agee has spent her entire life with me. She is there all the time.
And considering that the typical lifespan of a wild polar bear is 15 to 20 years, it’s probable that’s why Agee, a 23-year-old polar bear, is in such good health.
These fascinating creatures can survive in captivity for up to 35 years. 42 years old was the oldest polar bear kept in captivity.
