1512 Jenga pieces on a single block
Even the most fairly constant people would get nervous performing the traditional Jenga game. But Kelvin, also known as the Menga Man, is the maestro of stacking the pieces of wood. He builds structures of Jenga in all sizes and forms that balance dangerously long sufficient for him to take a picture. The Jenga genius previously piled 1,512 things on top of a solid block, breaking his own world record in the process.
In February 2021, Kelvin placed 1,150 Jenga pieces onto one to set a new world record. Three months later, in May, he managed to construct a massive, acorn-shaped arrangement with 1,512 pieces, outdoing even his own feat. He captured the action on camera and uploaded it online, demonstrating how meticulously he set every block in position one at a time. Even his heartbeat is captured in the film, peaking at 154 bpm as the anxious artist adds the last few bricks to the building. The construction collapses on the table while Kelvin is filming his masterpiece, as can clearly be seen in the clip.
According to Kelvin, who speaks to My Contemporary Met, “I get pleasure from completing something I formerly thought was great.” “I believed that no one could build more than 1,000 Jenga blocks. Imagine how happy I was to be proven wrong.
See more of Kelvin’s incredible buildings, including his world-record-breaking Jenga build, above.
When he placed 1,512 Jenga things on top of a single block, Kelvin, a.k.a. the Menga Man, smashed his own world record.
He obviously understands physics since his magnificent creations can remain in place long enough for him to take a picture.
Enjoy the view as he breaks the record.
