Cat and her 4 adorable kittens
Last month, a family of five cats in need of rescue was brought to the attention of Laura Malone, a director of Mini Cat Town in San Jose, California.
The city shelter received a mother cat and her four babies.
Regarding their beginnings, not much is known.
Mini Cat Town seized the opportunity to take care of the family.
They recognised the four kittens right away because they all had beautiful chocolate or cinnamon brown fur.
Finding a chocolate or cinnamon-colored cat is challenging. It can only appear due to a genetic mutation in the black colour gene.
The mother cat, Mars, is an attractive feline with a long black coat.
When she first came, she was anxious about her new surroundings, but as soon as she realised her kittens were safe, her anxiety subsided.
Over time, Momma Mars warmed up to her foster family and allowed them to help her take care of her demanding kids.
The whole attention and unwavering love of Momma Mars has produced healthy, content, and chubby kittens.
Every day they get funnier and more adventurous as they begin to walk.
