Colourful snake figurines
Glass is typically seen in the form of cups and plates, but some designers are using this material to create remarkable works of art. The snakelike figures made by Maryland-based designer Ryan Eicher are covered in a variety of colorful designs and colors.
Every snake is sculpted into a pronounced curled cue from borosilicate glass, one of the strongest kinds, using a torch. This sculpture’s undulating shape gives the impression that it is composed of a more flexible plastic, emphasising Eicher’s skillful method for creating these twisting sculptures.
These figures’ bodies are made up of a combination of vivid colours and detailed patterns. Various jewel tones can be seen in some reptiles, while spirals, stripes, squiggles, and even marbled designs can be seen in others.
