Decanters are lovely items that enhance the display of wine, alcoholic beverages, and other fluids. These traditional serving jars are given a unique twist by American artist Charlie Matz, who makes wine bottles with magnificent architectural components based on animals. These gorgeous sculptures are embellished with fish, crabs, jellyfish, and other sea life, turning them into works of visual art.

At the moment, Matz is employed with the glass firm Ignite Glass in Chicago. According to Matz, “the focus of my artistic activity is the culmination of years of skill in scientific and aesthetic production of glass.” “I create with utility in consideration; a lovely piece that embodies environment is lovely to look at, but what enhances this work is the reality that it is functional,” the artist once said. While all of the artist’s creations are attractive as decorative elements, they also make wonderful wine bottles for alcoholic beverages and other liquids.

Amazingly, Matz manages to seamlessly combine the odd shapes of creatures into the design of the bottle. For example, a fish emerges from the spout in a wave and an octopus extends its tendrils to create an oval-shaped opening between the spout and the decanter’s primary chamber. He says, “The instruments we use for daily tasks do not have to be mass-produced. They may be one-of-a-kind, motivational items that come with their own tales. You may create a garden of brilliant colour and form in your bar or beverage cabinet.
