4 wonderful kittens
Four kittens were found wandering the streets by two concerned bystanders.
The babies’ mother cat was nowhere to be found, and the rescuers were unable to leave them to their fate.
To ensure the kittens received the care they needed, they were taken to the Animal Welfare League of Arlington (in Virginia).
The kittens were just three weeks old and were skin and bones underneath all that fur.
They formed a tight-knit group right away, as though they were trying to keep each other company while travelling.
After much practise, the kittens eventually mastered using the bottle, and they were fitting in to their new home. They started putting on weight while eating like champions.
The names of the cats were inspired by water (Beck, Brook, River, and Bayou).
“My courageous, sassy daughter Baby has always yelled for milk at feeding time at the top of her lungs.”
The smallest kitten, Beck, required assistance with feeding for a while until she was able to do so on her own.
Her siblings would regularly huddle together and hold her in an apparent attempt to bolster her.
The kittens started to walk and investigate and soon found their way onto Penny’s lap.
The four kittens piled up one by one on the warm lap for a nap after the news immediately spread.
The tortie Brook quickly adjusted to her human companions and mastered the skill of cuddling on a lap.
