Helpless dog and heroic employees
After saving a helpless dog from impending death, a group of construction workers in Pasaje Canton, Ecuador, have been hailed as heroes.
The canine fell into an irrigation canal, and the men worked together to prevent it from drowning.
Pictures of the rescue were taken with a camera, and they instantly went popular online!
Some of the team’s coworkers radioed the crew to warn them that a dog had fallen into the canal and was being swept by the rapids in their direction.
Without hesitation, they hurried to save the defenceless dog.
One of the workers, Abel Murillo, went into the bucket of the excavator while his colleague assisted him in descending so that he could reach the dog.
The dog was frightened and perplexed, but Murillo held out his strong hand to save her.
They were both then raised back to safety by the rest of the crew! An innocent person was saved and given a second opportunity thanks to these heroic individuals.
In addition to saving the puppy, the builders raised enough cash to take her to the doctor and get her cured.
The dramatic incident was caught on tape, and it rapidly went viral online, gaining millions of views and at least as many admiring comments for the employees’ thoughtful act!
