Amazing baby tapir
It’s amazing to observe some land animals racing underwater, even if the animal kingdom is typically unexpected, incredibly fascinating, and full of surprises.
As seen by their behavior and instincts, these organisms are incredibly interesting and intelligent.
But that’s exactly what landscape photographer Fernando Maydana captured in a now-famous image.
Fernando came across a once-in-a-lifetime sight while swimming in the stunning waters of Portugal’s Rio da Prata river.
An adorable and endearing mammal, a tapir mother and her youngster were lazily clinging to the bottom of the river.
Making use of the serene and lovely waters of the river, the choice was made to go on a subterranean journey.
Tapirs are widely recognized for being powerful land mammals, but as you can see in the photographs, they have never been well known for their swimming prowess!
Fernando Maydana told The Telegraph, “I had the privilege of recording this incredible scene of parents and daughter swimming at the same time.
That was one of my best catches to date, therefore it was a huge delight for me.
Shortly after filming the amazing event, Fernando shared the “breathtaking” movie on Snapchat. That was amazing!
“This has been the most magnificent scene I’ve personally caught,” he said of the video.
