The man saved 6 kittens
Five weeks ago, Catsnip Etc, a TNR (trap-neuter-return) rescue organisation based in Elkhart, Indiana, received a call regarding a litter of kittens found in a crack in the sidewalk.
The kittens needed to be saved as quickly as possible since they were in danger.
Catsnip Etc volunteers Paige, Carl, and Helen sprung into action and arrived with equipment to help bring the infants to safety.
The hole was so little that they had to shovel around it to get a decent look at the kittens.
Six little infants were huddled together in the rear, absolutely out of reach, when they noticed the litter.
They also played a video of a cat mother calling her babies in an effort to get the six kittens to relocate, but they resisted.
Carl volunteered to stand up and offer to scurry under the sidewalk to get the kittens.
He dove headfirst into the opening on his back.
He had hardly enough room to continue forward as his stomach brushed against the concrete.
He gently manoeuvred his body into the little space and reached for the thing.
After gently squeezing his body into the small area, he was able to reach the kittens and give them to the other volunteers.
