Outside, this shoe house is well preserved, but inside it would be destroyed.
A group of amateur explorers have discovered a mysterious shoe-shaped house in a UK forest.
A small, mossy dwelling was uninhabited for many years, so it practically became part of the natural landscape.
Outside, the shoe house is well preserved. But inside it was almost completely destroyed, so being in it is dangerous.
According to the Lost Britain community, a woman lived in the strange house in the 1950s.
“We found the boot at the foot of a steep cliff. In the 1950s, a woman seems to have lived in it. We don’t have any information about her since we just read about this fact on the Internet. Also, a few decades ago, children played in this house, ”the researchers wrote on their social networks.
The researchers shared photos of the unusual dwelling on social networks. And it reminded users of an old nursery rhyme called “Once upon a time there was an old woman in a shoe”.
The very first version of the story about the old woman was written back in 1794. But since then it has changed several times. Because many were not satisfied with the ending of the poem, in which the grandmother flogged her grandchildren with rods.
