Six years later, the pit has turned into a real two-room apartment.
A 14-year-old Spanish teenager, after a quarrel with his parents, went out into the yard with a shovel and began to dig a hole.
He just wanted to let off steam. Six years later, Andres’ pit has turned into a real two-room apartment underground, where there is electricity, Wi-Fi and other communications.
The house of the parents of Andres Canto stands in the suburbs of Alicante.
On the day of the quarrel, the guy refused to go with his parents to relatives and said that he himself would have great fun.
Then he went out into the backyard and started digging a hole.
It was not limited to one day. Andres dug every day after school, and he himself could not fully explain why he was doing it.
Construction went faster when a friend gave the guy a pneumatic drill.
Six years later, the dungeon turned into a cozy apartment.
Kanto even installed a heating system, but from May to September, the most comfortable temperature in the cave is around 20 degrees Celsius.
“I made the rooms, covered the ceiling and walls with concrete. This is no longer a cave, but a real apartment,” Andres told reporters.
Now the guy in his spare time continues to improve his underground house. Andres expects to live in it until he collects the first mortgage payment for a real apartment.
