With many people speculating as to whether it’s a bird, a person wearing a costume, or an odd creature from a science fiction film.
In all honesty, based on those images, any of them could be the culprit. It is only a bird, though.
In actuality, it is the largest bird in the world. Everyone, welcome to the harpy eagle!
The stunning animal, also called an American harpy eagle.
It is by far the biggest and most fearsome raptor to be seen in rainforests.
The enormous bird may weigh between eight and twenty pounds (9.07 kilograms), and its wingspan may exceed seven feet (ca. 213 cm).
On social media, the harpy eagle has gained more followers.

Even still, the species is considered endangered despite its widespread internet fame.
At the top of the food chain, there is a ferocious predator called the harpy eagle.
However, their populations have drastically decreased as a result of human involvement, particularly deforestation.
The majority of the less than 50,000 individuals now living in the wild are found in the rainforests of Brazil.
It was given a name here that was appropriate for its majesty: the royal-hawk.
