The sad and beautiful dog
When a dog enters a refuge, some are welcomed right once, while others take a little longer.
Luke, a terrier mix, has been looking for a forever home for about 8 months and is becoming impatient.
So, staff personnel planned a Valentine’s Day foster program for him in the hope that someone would visit him.
On the other side, Luke’s unique celebration was a letdown.
The puppy’s heart was broken when no one showed up to visit him. Despite Luke’s oddities, his perfect family is all around him.
This lovely puppy is still a priority for the charity.
At the English Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, Luke was recognized as a stray.
They don’t know much about the dog’s past, but he certainly seems traumatized.
Luke is initially reticent, but as soon as he warms up to someone, he becomes immensely affectionate.
The sanctuary ended up throwing Luke an acceptance party to help him get noticed.
They thought it would be a great opportunity for him to socialize and break out of his seclusion.
Luke has worked in the rescue for five times as long as the average canine.
But he won’t let this terrible incident deter him.
He still believes that his dream house exists, according to everyone he respects.
The greatest obstacle to Luke finding a suitable home is his anxiousness.
In unfamiliar situations, particularly when meeting dogs, he is quickly alarmed.
He would therefore flourish in a calm setting apart from the busy streets, especially if there were no other animals around.
He’ll need a family that will support him.
Like other dogs, Luke has his quirks, but they don’t stop him from developing into a great, loving boy.
After getting to know his adoptive parents, he will develop a relationship with them. H
All he requires is for someone to give him a chance.
