A stray cat and her kittens
A grey cat was scrounging for food in Blanche’s garden one day when she was 95 years old and a loving homeowner in Las Vegas.
The tabby was nothing more than skin and bones and was filthy.
Blanche started to give the cat food and water and asked who owned her.
But no one showed up to make that claim on her.
Blanche learned the cat was pregnant as her belly grew larger each day.
All the local rescue services were already full at the time, so nobody could assist her.
The prospect of the kittens being born outside repulsed the kind lady. She thus made the decision to act independently.
She welcomed the cat into her house and helped her locate a peaceful area.
So a few days later Blanche woke up to a delightful surprise.
She observed Aberdeen feeding and kneading four little additions on her as she approached the walk-in closet.
She immediately called her daughter to help.
After they came, family members took turns looking after the mother cat and her four kittens.
Up until a rescue group, they kept looking after Aberdeen and her children.
Vets for Abandoned Pets also have the room and tools to help.
