Although people’s inclinations may drive them to seek out those who are unlike themselves, these urges have occasionally been tamed by the strength of love and love itself.
The tale we’re going to share with you isn’t about a human mother, but rather an owl that attempted to raise a duckling.
In our tale, the mother owl made the decision to establish a nest in Laurie Wolf’s Florida garden.
In addition to being a digital photographer, Laurie was curious about the owl that had settled in her yard.
Being a photographer, Laurie was constantly on the watch, and one day the owl surprised her when she noticed a baby duckling nearby.
She initially believed it to be a young owl, but upon closer examination she discovered it to be a duckling.
