Oliver had never felt that uncomfortable
Oliver merely had a dejected look on his face. He shed almost all of his hair and had a scorching red complexion.
His body was covered in cuts and sores from frantically scratching to feel better.
And now he was in a cage, terrified and frightened, not knowing where he was.
He was rescued from the streets of Chicago by a nice stranger who took him to Chicago land Pet Prevention and Diagnosis.
The 1-year-old pet’s existence was unknown, but it was clear that no one had cared for him for a very long period.
In order to move Oliver from the municipal shelter with a high admittance rate and into a caring foster home, Lee then got in touch with Tanner Smith, a sanctuary worker with Knox Region Humane Culture.
No matter how uneasy Oliver remained, it was clear right away that all he wanted was to be loved.
He started rolling around and his tail wouldn’t stop wagging as volunteers from the shelter joined him on the ground.
Lee and Smith think Oliver was once a human before winding up on the streets, yet his past is unknown.

Oliver was found to have secondary skin conditions in addition to Demodex mange after a thorough examination.
