An officer adopts incredible pit bull puppy
A police officer who found a gorgeous pit bull pup and was determined to give him a permanent home turned what seemed to be a calamity into a fantastic conclusion.
The puppy was found wandering the streets of Mount Laurel by a municipal police patrol, and the situation unexpectedly turned out in his favor.
Officer Matthew O’Hanlon, who has been with the Sheriff’s Department for around three years, came upon the little puppy while on patrol in the city’s industrial area.
He thought he had lost so he looked about the home.
The dog lacked a collar and seemed injured, so it was more likely that he had been abandoned than misplaced.
When Officer O’Hanlon became alarmed, he brought the 3-month-old puppy to the specialized Animal Shelter for further inspection.
The policeman’s heart had been captured by the puppy’s gentleness on the way there, though.
However, the officer understood he shouldn’t develop a sentimental attachment, so he left the puppy with the rescue. But only for a brief while!
The puppy remained at the rescue for a few extra days despite not having a microchip in case someone arrived to pick him up. He had to stay as well in order to get medical attention for his wounds.
On the other hand, Captain O’Hanlon was eager to show him about his new house as soon as he was fully recovered. His name was Thor.
