A mama dog and her nine puppies
It was heartbreaking for us when we came across a dog who had been abandoned with her nine puppies inside of a blue plastic box.
Thankfully, a good Samaritan couldn’t just walk by and shared the picture on social media.
It soon got to the proper person!
Two volunteers from the rescue team came to help this adorable family out of their precarious circumstance.
Thinking about how someone could be so cruel to an animal was quite frustrating.
The mother dig, Boxer, had numerous wounds and needed medical attention.
Because the volunteers didn’t want to waste any time, they put them in the back seat of their car and drove them to the veterinarian to be examined.
The dogs are currently living a happy life in their new foster home.
They are now protected and surrounded by affection.
Unfortunately, one of the puppies’ lives could not be saved by the medical staff.
It was too late to save him; he had throat cancer.
The dog was given a new name—Dora—as though to atone for her past mistakes.
Now that they are secure and content, we are thrilled. They’re all available for adoption! What a sweet tale!
