The bear jumps gleefully into the pool
A bear always has the sweetest surprise when he learns he is truly free after being freed from a bile field.
This gigantic animal, who has spent nearly eight years in cramped cages, can’t keep his eyes off himself as he maybe sees swimming for the first time.
His uncontrollable delight was caught on camera, and it is quite moving!
But without the generosity of the staff at Animals Asia, a Hong Kong-based charity committed to the rescue of abandoned animals, none of this would have been possible.
Their efforts have resulted in the preservation of numerous wild animals.
This is essentially what happened to the moon bear Tuffy.
The adorable bear was kept captive and used in a bile farm for medical purposes for much too long.
After more than 9 years of arduous labor by animal rights organizations, Tuffy was finally granted the chance to live a peaceful life.
After being recovered from the appalling conditions he had been kept in, this lovely bear was moved to one of Wildlife Asia’s shelters.
But the poor bear has so many physical and mental wounds from the horrific life he’s led.
The bear, despite his impaired vision and several jaws would again, was able to adequately appreciate his moments of independence.
The recovered bear is set to swim for the first time of life after being taken to an incredible refuge in Vietnam.
But not without having an operation and recovering completely.
