A family of wild mountain gorillas
It’s generally thrilling to come face to face with such a wild animal, but for one US tourist, it was undoubtedly a heart-pounding experience to see a pack of wild, endangered animals coming straight toward him.
The chimpanzees were friendlier than expected; they even gave the man a thorough cleaning.
Now that the poignant scene has been documented on film!
John J. King II’s primary motivation for visiting Uganda’s Mapungubwe National Park was to observe the elephants and rhinoceros.
He did, however, receive a lot more than that.
A number of chimpanzees attempted to join their camp, and as a result, King finds himself in the middle of an unexpected conflict.
As a result of the odd encounter, the man was arrested up in a mixture of fear and excitement.
But finally, he realized that what he was seeing was indeed happening.
The young gorillas approached the man even though he was standing still.
Probably out of joy, as the parents watch them closely from a respectful distance.
The kids got up on King’s shoulder and started grooming him at the same time.
