A kindhearted man
Lithuanian-born American Darius Sasnauskas has always had a passion for the outdoors.
As a result, he watched a deer birth scenario unfold before his eyes and was as excited as a child opening a birthday present.
In his own backyard, close to Yellowstone National Park, everything happened.
The magnificence of the environment, however, was eclipsed by Mother Nature’s behavior.
Unfortunately, one of the two newborn fawns was injured and left behind since she was unable to keep up with the rest of the family.
Even before it started, it seemed as though the little one’s fate was already decided, but fortunately Darius changed everything.
The good guy decided to foster the baby deer even though he was opposed to keeping wild animals as pets because she could not have survived in the wild on her own.
A challenging yet wonderful rehabilitation process started after that.
Darius took care of the helpless creature by bringing her into his house.
After tending to the injuries to her front limb, he researched the best way to feed her.
Every three to four hours, Darius gave the rescued fawn milk by hand and even gave her a motherly face kiss.
Everything was done to provide the poor animal with the greatest level of comfort.
As time went on, things became better and better for the baby deer.
The tiny deer, who was formerly defenseless, has grown stronger and her broken leg has fully healed.
Because of her strong bond with her hero, the baby deer kept going back to the guy who had given her a second chance at life rather than heading back into the woods.
