A wonderful kitten
A kitten that was found inside an office building warmed up to the people there and chose to trust them, purring.
Late last month, Taylor Nichols was at work when she heard what sounded like a cat.
Further investigation led her to the discovery of a small kitten in a cardboard box by itself.
The kitten, named Beans, was reluctant to exit the box.
He barked, cried out, and used his instincts to frighten and hide.
Beans came out of his shell steadily and cautiously. He melted against Taylor for more head scritches and sent out the sweetest rumbling purrs when his back was scratched.
Knowing that the kitten was abandoned and in need of care, Taylor posted a social media plea in an effort to find a rescue for him.
When Ryann saw the posts, she made the decision to act.
After picking up the kitten, Ryann called her neighborhood rescue organization, Baby Cat Rescue (in Los Angeles), to inquire about the possibility of finding a foster home for it.
The following day, Beans mustered the courage to come out of hiding with a new outlook.
He was no longer afraid, and he started to play with toys and investigate his environment.
