Wonderful spider made of glass

The wonderful craft of glassblowing has a long history that dates back to the first century BCE. Glass Symphony is a tiny, family-run glassblowing business that has been in operation for several generations. Their bright, painstakingly made sculptures are a testament to their skill and love for what they do. The artists create exquisite hand-blown glass spiders and other animals using the lampwork technique, in which they shape the glassware with the aid of a tiny torch. The animals’ realism is so convincing that you could be tempted to double-take.

According to Nikita Drachuk of Glass Symphony, “We’ve been working with glass sculptures for three generations.” “My grandfather trained my dad, who then trained me, how to do this craft. Our livelihood is in the glass industry, and we think it’s awesome to be able to make various glass masterpieces. Our works of art can be seen practically anywhere in the world and bring genuine joy and happiness to others.

The family also makes glass creations of slugs, scorpions, fish, birds, and even octopuses in contrast to spiders. Even with more than 17,000 sales on Etsy, their spiders have emerged as one of their most well-liked products. Due of their fragile, lifelike attributes and meticulous craftsmanship, the lovely eight-legged glassware animals are in high demand.

According to Drachuk, “the spider is a really meaningful figure for us. “We had never previously created glass spiders. But as quickly as we began offering our products for sale on Etsy, a customer wrote to us and requested that we create a black widow for him. He also shared his personal narrative with us. He loved insects and has a black widow tattoo on his arm. His brother had just passed away. Our customer purchased a black widow for every member of his family in honor of their brother. Ever since, we’ve produced glassware replicas of more than 70 different kinds of spiders, and they’ve quickly risen to the top of our bestseller list.
