Two two-day-old kittens
Two two-day-old kittens in severe need of help arrived at a county shelter in Tampa, Florida.
They had been found abandoned and in bad health.
They were promptly taken in by AnimalLuvr’s Dream Rescue and placed in a foster home where they got vital care.
Despite their best attempts, one of the kittens passed away, but Peyton, her sister, was saved.
After receiving constant feedings and attentive care, the tiny gray kitten brightened up and let out her first purr.
As soon as her legs were strong enough, Peyton used her newfound strength to explore and move around her nursery.
She immediately learned to like hugs and always had a cuddling companion in the form of a dummy mother.
They had the intention of introducing her to other foster children as they understood how much friendship would help her.
Around this time, Nadija received a call regarding an orange tabby cat that had been brought into the sanctuary as a singleton.
With a roof over his head and food available, Hart changed into a rumbling purr machine and a clinging lap cat.
When her foster mother was working, Hart insisted on sitting on her lap and took all of his naps there.
As a lonely kitten, he wanted for a friend to play and cuddle with.
The rescue chose to introduce Hart and Peyton since they both needed a friend.
