This act is really terrible! Elephant Sook Jai, who is 73 years old, spent many years living in captivity.
She endured appalling living conditions.
She was treated inhumanely, both physically and psychologically.
She was forced to perform a variety of tasks while in prison, including begging on the streets.
It had an impact on her health. She lost her sight and hearing.
Never again should we treat these animals with such cruelty. They must all take pleasure in living in the outdoors.
Thankfully, the elephant rescue was able to preserve the life of this wounded elephant.
She has since been transported to a sanctuary where she leads a calmer existence.
The poor creature was incapable of even imagining receiving a second chance at life.
