Pigs fighting off the large bear
In an unusual situation, two very brave pigs worked together to drive a large black bear out of their pen.
The wild animal thought he had found the easiest meal, but after traveling a considerable distance, he learned just how courageous pigs can be.
The thrilling event was recorded by a ring camera!
Mary and Hammy, two of Rebecca Shaw’s therapy pigs, were relaxing in their cozy cage in New Milford, Connecticut, when an unplanned visitor decided to pay them a visit.
Unexpectedly, a black bear entered the enclosure after leaping over the gate.
The pigs kept their ground and bravely guarded their pen.
When the huge bear entered and confronted Mary, she didn’t think twice to defend herself.
After a brief delay, Hammy joined his companion, and the two of them eventually trapped the bear and forced him to flee.
The incident, which was caught on camera, left the owner of the piglets speechless.
Fortunately, none of the pigs were hurt, and despite their bravery and fear, they will soon make a full recovery.
Rebecca said, “Thank goodness they weren’t wounded since it might have been much worse.”
